Life, deconstructed

What do you notice first in this photo? Click-drag mouse to reverse text colours for my impression: the green shoe demands attention, but the real question should be where is he coming from, going to, leaning left apprehensively as if afraid of the unknown around the corner. What did you see?

well...he is taking his next step which is: lift the left leg and place forward; the image of left leg is blurred, obviously indicating movement...and probably he carries himself swaying on either side as he walks... AND the green shoe must have caught your eye - hence the focus on the shoe. [???]

Firstly, this is my second try [and thence change in my comments too]...no idea why/how my first comment did not get posted, despite following all the 'rules'.
anyway...

It seems he is walking down some sloped ramp...[?hospital; physical therapy] [he seems to have only one leg]
He also seems to be holding himself from falling, obviously due to his handicap and the fact that he is without any support [crutches; walker]

I am assuming all this because his 'other' green shoe should have been seen although blurry, just like the blurred image of the pants, on the left side. [?????]

Lastly, is this your try on 'photoshop' or whatever it is called...that your cuzns are trying these days?

Firstly, comments don't get posted immediately, they are submitted to the author (me, in this case) for approval. I can't (and won't) make any changes to the text, just a "approve or deny" decision to prevent spamming.

Second, yes, he is walking...the entire body is in varying degrees of motion, except for his right foot, which is still and on solid ground. Left leg is swinging back as upper torso moves forward. You can still see remnants of a green shoe w/ white stripes on the left foot.

As for the rest of the comments, I will leave them as is, for my readers to come to their own conclusions--that's the beauty of it all, rather than me pushing a certain viewpoint when so many more can possibly exist.

No photoshopping other than cropping the image (this was shot through a doorway), camera isn't even level w/ the ground if you notice. Other than cropping, (if needed) and other such slight and minor touches, nothing else is ever done to my photos, firstly because I don't *know* how to, nor would I for reasons of "purity" of the image.
